Nothing I can say adds to what others have been saying and writing today except to suggest listening to the Sequence in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem. It is the most profoundly sad, yet triumphal music ever written.

The most eloquent thing I have read/heard all day about it. Listening was “far above our poor power to add or detract.” Bravo.
